Sometimes you just need to hear yourself
Finally a place where you can feel normal and just be yourself
Weekly live one-on-one online sessions are running every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at 7.00pm and 8.30pm.
It's a place to be heard and understood. No matter what your circumstance is, big or small. Through conversation and reflection, we help you to process your life and even become aware of underlying things or issues that you may not have noticed for yourself. You can only change what you acknowledge.
A place to find authentic connection. All our Highway Youth Facilitators have experienced the Highway Journey for themselves and now hold this safe space for other young people as volunteers. They have undergone more than one year of training. They love the space and work that they do, and it shows in our ratings.
As a charity, this wonderful service is provided without charge. No fee. No cost. You might be waiting to get an appointment for counselling and therapy sessions. In the meantime, consider Highway. We are not an alternative but a complementary service to try whilst you wait. You can get into a session within a week or less!
"I would recommend it to young people who feel their voices and stories don't matter or don't deserve to be heard. Highway was a great way for me to express myself and share things I couldn't share with family or friends, and having someone who listened and valued my thoughts was so helpful because it is an important step to valuing oneself as well. I would also recommend it because it is a space to feel one's feelings and tap into what is important in life." Bella
"Respectful, calm, non-judgemental space and could be less intimidating to people than say therapy. I also liked the focus on spirituality as connection rather than a specific religion. Highway would work for someone of any faith or atheism." Alice
