Unlike therapy, Highway’s mission, and flagship peer-led sessions, seek to explore the human element of a person’s experiences – not diagnose or treat. Our programs support a person’s own capacity to find meaning, clarity, and balance.
Young people grow through self-understanding and self-discovery grounded in genuine human connection. Trained and certified youth Facilitators (with Mental Health First Aider accreditation) lead each experience with empathy, curiosity, and non-judgement – whether it’s our thriving school programs across Victoria, self-reflection retreats, or our subsidised peer-led sessions available nationwide.

Become an Accredited Facilitator
Become an accredited peer-to-peer facilitator through Highway’s 12-week training program. Instructed by contemplative teacher and wellbeing science educator, Lela McGregor, learn the art of companionship, deep listening, and inner connection to support others with confidence. Ideal for educators, youth workers, pastoral carers, and community leaders.

Highway Foundation prides itself on its offerings for young people aged 18-29 years of age. For those that are 30+ or have children, Highway Founder and CEO Lela McGregor offers a host of bespoke programs including contemplative circles, parent-child workshops, and speaking engagements.
