If you want to feel confident about yourself and your future - here is your first step.
It is a safe, kind, gentle and open space where young people, just like you, can start to unpack what they want for themselves. We promise that we will not mentor you or tell you what to do. Instead, we will listen to what you want and let you work things out for yourself through a series of activities. We will not lead you or push you along from behind; instead, we will walk beside you and accept you - just as you are.

A Bit About The Program
The Focus on You '22 Program is an incredible program that is a journey of self discovery through group discussion, self reflection and the sport of football. This new experience will uncover a new side of you. You will get to know yourself better and therefore feel confident to make the best decisions for you.
What Will You Experience
Your experience of the program will be over a month but can last a lifetime. Once you are accepted as one of our official participants you will be invited to the following three experiences:
1. A Youth Weekend Retreat.
This time away helps you to reflect on what you truly want for yourself. Great individual and group work plus inspiring physical activities delivered by Football Victoria that help you uncover who you are.
2. The Highway Journey Session.
After the Youth Weekend Retreat you will then go on to unpack your journey and how you are travelling by meeting up with other young people from the retreat over 4 weeks online. During this time, you will become supportive friends as you start to make your new journey into 2022.
3.Highway Community
We are always here for you. Going forward you are now part of our community where you can find acceptance, support and also a safe space to be heard, understood and to just work things out.
What is the Cost?
This program costs $1,200 to attend per person.
But due to the incredible generosity by Football Victoria and The Department of Justice and Community Safety it is FREE for young people that really want an opportunity to work things out for themselves. All costs, resources and activities are covered.
Parental Consent
As we are a Child Safe program, young people that would like to do the program that are aged below 18 years of age must have parental consent to attend.
Who Will Be Present and Running the Program
The Program will be run by Football Victoria and Highway Foundation. All Highway Youth Facilitators who will be overseeing the program come with the following qualifications:

・Working with Children Check
・Child Safe Training Protocols
・Emergency Training Protocols
・Mental Health First Aid
