It’s easy to feel like you’re not attractive enough. Almost everywhere you look there are more attractive people, living happier lives. This feeling is difficult to deal with. Acknowledge that. It hurts to feel unattractive, and so many people and so many things can you feel this way.
Once you have accepted this feeling, start to work on ways to make yourself feel comfortable with yourself. That’s what is most important.
You’ll realise, that looks only matter to some people. Being kind, caring, intelligent, funny are all attractive. There are thousands of traits that people find attractive. Guaranteed you will have at least a few. Just asked your best friend. .
So, it’s not about being more attractive. You shouldn’t have to try to be someone you're not. It’s a matter of finding people that make you feel attractive for who you are. Find people that celebrate and appreciate you, for the person you are. .
If you do feel unattractive, think about the people in your life. Do they say and do things that make you feel unattractive? Perhaps there were people and experiences in the past that made you feel unattractive..
Think about where this feeling is coming from.
As hard as it might be, begin to accept yourself. You don’t even have to love what you see. Just accept the good and the bad. Accepting your flaws and blemishes is a long but important journey. .
Once you accept yourself you can start to feel comfortable with who you are. You can begin to heal from all the hurt you feel. Once this happens, you are more likely to find people that will support, celebrate, and encourage you.
